About the Director
Cindy Yoon has a background in Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design and has over a decade of experience working for various design companies throughout her career. In 2021, in the throes of Covid19, she left her corporate design role in NYC to prioritize time with her daughter and pursue more meaningful endeavors. She obtained an Art Therapist's license in Korea and also founded a contemporary jewelry brand, Studio Hiedra, She has previous experience teaching kids and has always loved working with children. She finds meaning in nurturing, building relationships and mentoring students. She will bring her experiences and unique design expertise to craft appropriate lessons for each student. In her spare time, she finds joy in exploring new places, delights in baking delicious cakes, and is an animal lover.
